Baby Holiday Gift Guide 2023

Sam Hyali November 22, 2023

As the holiday season approaches, we are often asked to recommend toys that bring joy and support a child's development. We're thrilled to introduce our holiday gift guide featuring our favorite items. There are so many ways to support learning and development, and the list below is a great resource when shopping for your baby or for sharing with grandparents, relatives, and friends who are looking for extra special and developmentally focused gift ideas!

When choosing toys for babies, we believe in the power of open-ended play. Open-ended toys are extraordinary because they can be used in many ways, encouraging your child's imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills. These toys ignite a world of endless possibilities, allowing your child to explore, create, and learn in their own unique way. There are also toys listed that encourage focus on a particular skill.

We do want you to know that this super awesome list contains Amazon affiliate links. By purchasing through these links, we receive a tiny commission that we put towards supporting our volunteer programs. Click on the image to go to the Amazon page for more details or to purchase.

See our Kid’s Holiday Gift Guide and Sensory Gift Guide blog posts for more ideas.

Lovevery Play Gym

This is our favorite play gym for little ones. It has a variety of textures, colors and features to keep babies entertained but not too overstimulating. It also has a cover and turns into a fort when little ones are a little bigger.

InnyBin

This is a great toy for babies to keep babies entertained. We love using this in the clinic and adding different toys into the bin. Helps work on grasping, motor planning and problem solving skills.

Object Permanence Box

A toy that can grow with yout baby! Start with simple in/out object permanence, and as baby grows learn eye-hand coordination with other items, such as placing shapes and toys into a small slot.
